I have lived here in Norfolk for almost 20 years and I would highly recommend that if you are not a military service member, dependent, retiree, civil servant or DOD contractor you think twice about moving here. It’s a city for military people.

That’s not true at all! I too have lived in Norfolk for the better part of two decades and have found this Atlantic coastal city to be a wonderful place to raise a family, recreate and live comfortably. Maybe just you should move if you don’t like it!
